HERITAGE

Heritage™ Organs offer the tonal flexibility of Renaissance™ technology, plus much more.
Customers play an integral part in the design of the Heritage Organ's tonal scheme, as well as many aspects of the console's design. Organ requirements vary due to styles of music and organist demands. Heritage meets this need for flexibility by offering custom organs at a cost similar to other manufacturers' out-of-the-box solutions.

Heritage begins with a choice of four different tonal specifications including American Classic, French Romantic, Neo Baroque or English Cathedral stop lists. But this is only the beginning. You choose between literally hundreds of console treatments from keyboards to stop controls, all designed to personalize the organ to your specific needs. The Heritage Series offers two, three and four-manual organ platforms. Contact us for more information.

DIANE BISH SERIES

DESIGNS BY AMERICA'S FAVORITE ORGANIST
Concert and recording artist, composer, conductor and international television personality, Diane Bish has been hailed by critics as "stunning, virtuoso, fiery, and astonishing". Through numerous recordings, concerts and weekly television appearances, Diane Bish is the most visible American organist today. When Diane heard her first Renaissance™ organ, she became so impressed with its tonal integrity and quality that she asked Allen Organ Company to jointly develop instruments with her own special design touches. The result is the unique Diane Bish Signature Organs that bring a touch of Diane to churches throughout the world.

ALLEN MIDI PRODUCTS

MIDI was developed in the 80's for synthesizers. Although early synthesizers could produce a variety of sounds, only a few could be played simultaneously. To overcome this, an interconnect language, MIDI, was developed to allow multiple instruments to be connected and controlled by one keyboard.

MIDI soon found applications for organs. Besides traditional sounds, organs could provide contemporary ones by controlling synthesizers. Also, MIDI sequencers enabled organ music to be stored on computer discs for automatic playback.

Basic MIDI, and derivatives such as "GS" MIDI, were not designed for organs and do not fully and easily integrate with important organ controls such as preset pistons or stops. Organists soon demanded a more intuitive system, one that fully integrated with traditional organ controls. In response to this need, Allen, who introduced the first digital musical instrument to the world over thirty years ago, introduced SmartMIDI™, designed specifically for organs.

SmartMIDI™ is an integral part of all Allen products. Using advanced technology, it makes thousands of decisions per second, working in tandem with the musician to offer the ultimate artistic flexibility. SmartMIDI™ means a truly user-friendly system and is compatible with all MIDI formats, including General, GS and TG MIDI.
